Mountaineer Transportation was started in 2017 after its founder noticed a huge lack of service, and integrity in the industry. After working for one of the country's largest freight brokers, Mike decided to start his own asset-based flatbed carrier. Our pillars include having great people, technology and equipment to provide world-class service to our customers. We are constantly updating our technology to be on the cutting edge.

We have a great group of drivers and are always thankful for their work. They spend countless hours away from their homes and families to make sure goods are delivered safely and on-time! Some of our favorite shipments have been 14-foot-wide lumber milling machines, Humvees out of Fort Bragg and obstacles from a Tough Mudder course!
